The following code of conduct is based on the principles of the Westmeadows Football Club and it applies to all persons associated with the club as members, players, and supporters.
The football club is a good and safe place to be.
- Any person who enters the Westmeadows Football Club precinct should not be subject to threatening behaviour in the form of physical or verbal abuse.
- Any person who exhibits physical or verbal abuse of any other person will be asked to leave the precinct.
- Any person who has consumed excess alcohol will cease to be served and will be asked to leave the precinct.
The football club is welcoming and free of discrimination.
- Any person who enters the Westmeadows Football Club precinct should not be subject to discrimination on the grounds of race, gender or religion.
- Any person who exhibits behaviour of a discriminating nature will be asked to leave the precinct.
The club is bigger than the individual.
- All decisions made by the Committee of the Westmeadows Football Club will be made with the well being of the club in mind.
- Where an individual is involved, individual circumstances will be taken into account by the Committee.
The football club is a family oriented club with a community focus.
- The Westmeadows Football Club will promote any opportunity for the involvement of families within the club and the club within the community.
- Any person who is representing the Westmeadows Football Club in a playing, supporting or official capacity will be subject to the code of conduct of the Westmeadows Football Club outside the precinct.
All players will have the opportunity to play football.
- The Westmeadows Football Club was established to promote the game of Australian Rules football within the community.
- Any person who wishes to play football with the Westmeadows Football Club will be given every opportunity to do so.
Any behaviour that contravenes the code of conduct of the Westmeadows Football Club will be referred to and dealt with by the Committee.
