The Westmeadows Football Club is seeking Sport Trainers to join our senior men's and women's programs for 2025. The positions are paid positions and are perfect for university students studying Sports/Exercise/Health Science, Nursing or Massage.
Responsibilities include:
- Pre Match preparation - taping, massage, organising water bottles/kits etc.
- Injury Management
- Basic First Aid
Requirements:
- Ability to work with our football teams on:
- Pre-season - Monday and Wednesday Nights (November - February)
- In-season - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (March - September)
- Level 1 Sports Trainer (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain prior to season start. (The club can arrange A Sport Trainers course at no cost.
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Ability to strap for normal football preventative injuries, such as knees, ankles, shoulders and fingers.
- Ability to work with the Club's Head Trainer
- Renumeration is negotiable, based on experience.
